kair (pronounced care) is a Black and Asian non-binary artist, curator and advocate. They were born in 1997 during the age of technological advancement, which made more mediums such as digital photography and video more accessible. They work with mixed media, which consists of aerosol paint, digital photography and alternative processes. Their work usually has a dark theme or an unholy twist. Their aesthetic is influenced by their philosophy of introspection and their perception of their surroundings, using art as a vessel to communicate the atrocities of our time. They are expected to graduate in December 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Visual and Public Art at California State University, Monterey Bay.
